Ferg brought over a decade of experience in market access and health economics to his role as Director of Strategic Consulting at Innomar Strategies. Prior to Innomar’s acquisition of Wyatt Health Management, he spent five years with Wyatt, where he began his career as a Market Access Manager.
After completing his MSc in Economic Evaluation & Health Technology Assessment at the University of York (UK) in 2014, Ferg developed deep technical expertise in health technology assessment (HTA). He served as the company’s HTA expert and received professional training in database analysis, evidence synthesis, patient-reported outcomes, and advanced economic modeling.
In his role at Innomar, Ferg combined technical acumen with strategic leadership to support clients across a wide range of therapeutic areas. He led the development of full HTA submission dossiers and authored key documents such as economic evaluations, clinical summaries, and budget impact analyses for submission to national and regional HTA agencies. He also played an active role in external stakeholder engagement, including payer and clinician interviews and advisory boards.
Ferg was known for his clarity, leadership, and dedication to building capacity in the field. He regularly trained clients in reimbursement, pharmacoeconomics, and HTA, and was widely respected for his ability to bridge policy, evidence, and real-world strategy.
Ferg passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in September 2022. He was a long-standing and deeply valued member of CAHR’s Board of Directors, where he helped shape many of the organization’s core initiatives. Passionate about CAHR’s mission and the broader market access community, Ferg was instrumental in developing programming for key events, including Montréal Day, Market Access 101 and 201, and National Day.
Ferg's legacy continues through the countless colleagues, clients, and industry professionals he mentored and inspired. He is remembered not only for his expertise and impact but also for his generosity, integrity, and unwavering commitment to advancing the field.
