CAHR members are the professionals with an interest in public and private reimbursement for pharmaceutical and medical devices within the Canadian Healthcare System.

Benefits of being a CAHR member include:

  • Valuable networking opportunities at educational events throughout the year (peers, government and private payers, regulatory agencies, etc.)
  • Access to the CAHR website Member’s area, which includes presentations from CAHR education meeting sessions (when available)
  • Regular updates of relevant industry meetings and events, including guest speaker presentations
  • Advance notification and registration to CAHR events
  • Significant rate discounts for all CAHR events and CAHR-sponsored industry events (previously these have included Strategy Institute, Q1, Canada Institute, and Eye for Pharma events) – the discount on just one industry event pays for your entire year’s CAHR membership!

Memberships available:

  • Full Members shall be limited to individuals interested in furthering the purposes of the Corporation including individuals whose primary responsibilities involve activities that pertain to the reimbursement of human medical therapies.  Furthermore, Full Members shall be comprised of those involved with, or those who support, healthcare delivery in Canada, including individuals employed by or associated with industry manufacturers and suppliers, academia and service providers including, but not limited to innovative pharmaceuticals, radio-pharmaceuticals, biologicals, nutritional products, medical devices, and non-prescription products. Each application for admission as a Full Member must be accepted by the Corporation. (Click the button below to join.)
  • Associate Members shall be limited to persons (which includes an individual or an entity) that perform activities or that have interests that are compatible and/or supportive with the purposes of the Corporation. Each application for admission of an Associate Member must be accepted by the Corporation. (Contact the CAHR office at to join as this member type.)  

Things you should know:

  • Membership is valid for one year from the date of purchase
  • The Membership fee is $150 + 13% HST = $169.50
  • Payment can be made online using your credit card or by sending a cheque (made payable to: Canadian Association for Healthcare Reimbursement) to the address posted below

  • Memberships are not transferable, and remain with the member regardless of who paid for it.
  • CAHR is a non-profit organization and as such does not engage in commercial activities. We do not sell or lease our membership list. Information collected is used only to communicate with each member.
