Hall of Fame

The CAHR Hall of Fame was established to honour individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of reimbursement in Canada.

Eligibility is for individuals who have:

  • Served the pricing and reimbursement community for a minimum of 10 years
  • Created a significant body of work and left a legacy
  • Developed truly innovative approaches to reimbursement
  • Been recognized across Canada and/or internationally
  • Acted in an ethical manner


  • May be made by any CAHR member
  • Will describe the reasons for the nomination

Nominating Committee:

Will consist of a blue-ribbon panel, and potential members may include:

  • President of CAHR
  • A member of the CAHR Executive Advisory Board
  • Member of the Drug Policy Advisory Committee or designate
  • A representative from private payer community to be selected by CAHR Board
  • Representative from the patient community
  • 2 additional members of the CAHR Board
  • A representative from the Hall

Awards and Recognition:

  • Recipients of the Hall of Fame will be presented at the AGM
  • Each new member of the Hall of Fame will receive a suitable plaque and certificate noting their place in the Hall of Fame
  • Members to the Hall will become lifetime honourary members of CAHR
